Unless you ARE a doctor, it’s a good idea to have a “I just work here” attitude. The reason I’m recommending this is because you really have no idea of knowing what is going to happen after you use The Emotion Code on someone. You can tell your clients what is likely to happen- that they’ll feel better- but you absolutely cannot promise anything.
This is especially important to remember when you’re working with someone who has a serious illness such as cancer. You can say something like, “I don’t know what will happen, but our goal is always to balance the body as much as possible, so the body’s natural healing ability can take over.”
If you make any kind of predictions about people’s health, you’re only setting yourself up for trouble. You may even want to have your clients sign a disclaimer form at the very beginning, just to make sure that you’re not liable for anything that they may want to blame you for in the future. Sometimes in the healing process, things get worse before they get better, so make sure you are protected, just in case!
