Doing your Sessions by Proxy

Are you thinking of doing any of your sessions by proxy? This will save you time, effort and gas money, so take advantage!

Here are some tips to keep in mind when you start setting up to work by proxy. You might like it so much that you’ll decide to only work by proxy- that’s what our staff practitioners do because it’s so much more efficient.

1. Set up a specific time that works for you and the subject. It’s a good idea to designate certain working hours, just to make your life easier. For example, you may want hour hours to be from 5-8pm, Monday through Thursday or something similar.

2. Cluster book your sessions back to back, that way it frees up your day as much as possible. For example, if Jane books with you at 5pm, you could book Larry at 5:30. Then you’re free after that. If you book Larry at 7:30 though, you’re going to be stuck at home until his appointment is over.

3. Have your subject call you on the phone. Just like if you had a client coming into your office, it makes more sense. Trust me, I know.

4. Keep it short and efficient. When you’re first starting out, you can allow up to an hour, but then you’ll want to cut it down to about 20-30 minutes as you become more efficient at muscle testing and with The Emotion Code. Make it VERY clear to your subject that you have only the allotted time, and don’t go over this time.

If you haven’t started doing appointments yet, you will soon. Get excited, because it is awesome!

Explaining inherited trapped emotions to your clients

If you’re working with a client and an inherited Trapped Emotion shows up, you’ll definitely want to know how to explain this. In a nutshell, an inherited trapped emotion is simply a bit of emotional energy that is received from a parent at the moment of conception. It comes along with all the other DNA and physical material- in the egg if it’s from your mother and in the sperm if it’s from your father.

It’s important to distinguish the difference between “Inherited Emotions” and “Absorbed Emotions”. Inherited Trapped Emotions cannot become trapped at any point after you are conceived, just as you cannot inherit any genetic trait after you’ve already been conceived. After conception and at any other point in your life, you can absorb a trapped emotion from another person, but that is called an “Absorbed Emotion”. That is when someone else generates an emotion and you absorb that energy into your body. You will often need to identify if an emotion has been absorbed, but that is what the flowcharts are there for. Both inherited and absorbed emotions can become part of the Heart-Wall.

Inherited Trapped Emotions can go back multiple generations, so if you find an older one, keep in mind that many distant relatives may also have it. We used to think that we could only release Trapped Emotions directly up the line (i.e. father’s father’s mother). Now we know that we can release inherited emotions from anyone who has received that exact vibration. This means that you can potentially help many people at the same time while you’re also helping your client. What a perfect example of the ripple effect in motion!

Is the Difference Between Surrogate and Proxy Clear to You?

I what to clear up a common misunderstanding people seem to have about surrogate testing and proxy testing.

The words have similar meanings, so I can understand why it can get confusing. Here’s the difference in 5 words- memorize it!

Surrogate: Extension cord
Proxy: Distance

Surrogate testing is only used when the person you’re working on (the subject) is physically present, either touching or within a few feet of you (within the energy field). This type of testing is used when the subject is not testable. You can use self-testing if you’re working on them alone, OR you can plug in another person who is testable. All the muscle testing is done on the surrogate, still on behalf of the subject. The releasing of any emotions is still done on the subject because they are present. Think of surrogate testing like plugging in an extension cord- it’s pretty much the same thing, just with bodies instead of cords.

Proxy testing is used when you want to work on someone who is not physically near you. You can be the proxy yourself if you’re working alone, or you can have someone else become the proxy. All the muscle testing and the releasing of emotions is done on the proxy.

I hope this helps you to be clear on these two important concepts- the more you can educate your clients the better a practitioner you will be!

What to use instead of a magnet

If you find yourself without a magnet or unable to use one, just use your hand! Your body naturally emits electromagnetic energy all the time- this is the makeup of your energy field.

All you have to do is focus a little harder or more clearly on what you’re intending to do, especially at first. So identify the Trapped Emotion you’re wanting to clear, then simply use your hand or two fingers and put that intention-to-release energy right into your client’s body, via the energy coming from your hand. It’s so simple, but it works great!

When NOT to use a Magnet

The use of a magnet is a pretty important part of The Emotion Code, and you’ll probably want to use one 99% of the time. But there are a few situations where you may not want to use one at all. We recommend to always err on the side of caution! Here are some situations in which to avoid magnet usage:

1. Pregnancy- if your client is pregnant, you should not use a magnet. We have never had any problems with using a magnet on a pregnant woman, but if the baby is born with problems, you could be held responsible. (If you were a distraught parent with a sick newborn you would be looking for any potential cause, right?)

2. Pacemaker- Magnets (especially powerful ones) can interfere with the inner workings of pacemakers, which can create a life-threatening situation- yikes!

3. Any other implanted device like a hearing aid or an insulin pump- these can also be destroyed or interfered with by magnetic energy.

4. Someone in a coma or hooked up to medical machinery- either use a weak refrigerator magnet with the attending doctor’s permission (just ask if the magnet will interfere with their machinery), or don’t use any magnet at all.

5. Magnetic sensitivity- many of the clients you will attract will be familiar with magnets and may tell you they are sensitive to magnetic energy. For people like this, use either a refrigerator magnet or none at all.

Look for my next email where I’ll explain what to use instead of a magnet!

Explaining “Processing” and What to Expect After a Session

Oh, the lovely processing period, with all its emotional ups and downs, bad dreams, fatigue, sleeplessness and brain fog. What a drag it can be!

Fortunately, it seems like these symptoms are only experienced 20% of the time, and they only last a day or two for the most part. Chances are, you’re going to be asked why we have to go through processing, and what exactly it is, so to help you get ready, here’s an analogy that is pretty easy to understand:

“Doing The Emotion Code is like doing surgery on the energy body. We are literally looking for “malignant” or harmful energies that need to be removed, then we remove them, and the energy body has to heal and reorganize or regain it’s balance. If you were to do actual surgery to have a tumor removed, you would expect to have at least a few days of downtime afterward. Your surgeon would also likely tell you what to expect during this healing time, and he or she would also advise you to get extra rest in order to allow the body to heal. The advice after a session with The Emotion Code is just about the same! Be aware that if you feel out of sorts, have changes in your sleeping pattern, vivid dreams or emotional ups and downs, this is totally normal! Drink lots of water, eat healthy and get lots of rest, and let your energy body heal itself. You may not notice anything weird or negative, you might just feel great, but it’s better to be aware just in case.”

It’s a good idea to get in the habit of discussing this in the last minute or two of each session that you do. We also recommend emailing your clients a copy of their results, or giving them a printout, which should include a blurb or a disclaimer about processing. Some of your sessions will likely be somewhat mind-blowing for your clients, and they might have a hard time remembering the advice if it isn’t written down!
